I’ve rented 3 different warehouse locations for my business throughout the years and ReadySpaces is the most interesting. It’s a huge warehouse that’s divided up into different smaller units. You provide your own lock for your unit. The doors are huge to get inside your unit so you can essentially drive a forklift in there.

There’s pros and cons as with all the other locations I’ve rented. Pros:
– The property is maintained and dumpsters are outside for your use.
– There’s a shared kitchen and bathroom (multiple stalls in the restroom) along with vending machines and several chairs to sit on in the main lobby.
– Your unit comes with electricity. We had a 400-ish sq. ft and ours had 4 outlets in the corner.
– There’s loading docks you can use which is why we chose this location and there’s a shared Forklift and Pallet Jacks. You will need to pay for their Forklift Certification which is very easy.
– The building is secure. You will need a code to get into the building and the warehouse. There’s cameras also.
– Free Mail pick up. There’s 3 sections you can place your package whether it’s going to FedEx, UPS or USPS. It will be picked up.
– We were able to opt out after our 3 months. I’m not sure how often they increase rent but the opt out was ideal for us at the time.
– Comes with fast speed wi-fi!

Cons:
– It’s a walk to your warehouse. From the parking lot to the lobby though the warehouse maze and to your warehouse. Depending on how far your warehouse is, it can be a walk. I’m use to having a drive-up warehouse where I can park 4 feet from my front door. If you need to move a bunch of stuff from your car to your warehouse daily, I’d recommend getting a collapsible wagon to help.
– Maybe the other warehouses are different but we only had one electrical box with 4 outlets in our unit. If you need to plug in a bunch of stuff, you’ll need to get an extension cord.
– You hear everything and people can hear you. There’s no privacy. It’s been extremely quiet the times I was there where you can hear people walking through the warehouse and at times I’d feel self-conscious about how loud I’m working. I wouldn’t even be able to play my music low without feeling inconsiderate of others.
– The closer your office is to the dock, I would think you would need a personal heater during winter time. They have central air and heat but it’s for the whole building.
– The walls are metal sheeting so you can’t nail anything on there. You’re essentially in a metal box. I’m just so use to nailing up peg boards and shelves for my workstation. Shelving units will definitely be your best friend in this scenario.

All-in-all this place is a huge building and each warehouse is its own separate office with a central shared breakroom. I love the flexibility this offers and the fact that there’s a loading dock and forklift you can use is what sold me. When I was touring other locations that had a dock, the asking price for rent was astronomical. ReadySpaces is far more budget friendly.

Lastly, the property manager, Bridget, is the absolute sweetest soul we have ever encountered. She was so kind to us and explained everything in detail. She made the process of getting in very easy, and the process of moving out the same.

5 stars. Every time someone brings up the idea of needing an office or warehouse place, I always recommend ReadySpaces as a way in.

Great and Amazing Manager! She cares so much about the people renting, the place making sure everything as it should be, and she is very accessible if you needed anything. The price is very reasonable and they have a lot of different unit sizes and you can switch anytime to a bigger or smaller unit thats available! They have everything you need for a warehouse like pallet jacks, docks, etc..

When I stated my company, HQ Fulfillment Logistics, I was stressed about having to not only find a space, but to be able to afford it. Leasing a building as startup can be difficult and can burn up your starting capital. Fortunately I found Ready Spaces! They made it possible for me to start operations without having to pay a massive deposit while also keeping my overhead low. With the ability to scale into larger units as we grew, it was vital to HQ’s success. Bridget, the property manager, is exceptional.
