Coming from traditional self-storage, ReadySpaces has been a game changer. Having power, internet, a break room with a fridge and microwave, a bookable conference room, dumpster access, loading docks, hand carts, and pallet jacks makes a huge difference for us.

All of the amenities are great, but what really makes this place stand out is the manager, Shawn. From the moment we moved in, he’s been incredibly helpful and genuinely invested in keeping everything running smoothly. He’s personable, but also willing to enforce the rules that keep things fair and functional for everyone. You can tell he really cares about the businesses here.

I never feel like I’m bothering him when I need something (which means a lot since I’m usually hesitant to ask for help). Anytime something needs attention — like replacing the water filter or fixing a minor issue — it’s usually handled within a day or two.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to implement a more streamlined and secure system for package deliveries. You can receive packages now, but the process could be improved.

Overall, ReadySpaces has been an excellent move for us — the facilities are great, and the management makes all the difference.

My brother and I highly rate the work of ready space manager Shawn( La Mirada location). We are a beauty supply wholesaler and my brother has had a warehouse lease at Southgate ready space for the past 5 years and I have had a lease at La Mirada and La Location for 2 years and have seen many managers. I found ReadySpaces because I was looking for business storage solutions with round the clock hours, forklifts and pallet jacks, and better security than the standard storage facility. ReadySpaces had all of this and more including workspaces, a lounge, and a community of professionals. I want to highlight Shawn, the general manager. He was incredibly helpful when I signed up and made the process extremely easy. I felt welcomed from the beginning and although I was nervous about moving some large items, he worked through it with make me feel right at home. And I also noticed a strong relationship between Shawn and the other occupants.
